Simon Hewitt joins as Technical Sales for FT and a distribution agreement with Almatec is signed.

1990s
The Spiral Wound Manufacturing method is developed in conjunction with Cambridge University. To accommodate the new manufacturing process a 7000ft2 building, custom extruder and former handling facility are added to the site in Lock Way. Technological advancements are made with the development of Packed Tower Fume Scrubbing and a prototype Sulphuric Acid Dilution Unit is designed and manufactured in thermoplastics, which operates for 27 years.

Simon becomes Managing Director and Seamus assumes the role of Chairman. Odelle joins the business in the role of Commercial Director and as a first project implements Progress Plus ERP across the business. The ChemiGuard range of Tanker Offload and Dosing Cabinets is launched. Gary Smith joins Process Plant division as Sales Director.
